Pathways in Nursing

If you’re in the world of nursing, you know how many different career paths there are. People may refer to you as a nurse, but you may be a Registered Nurse, or maybe an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or even a Nurse Practitioner. If you’re not a nurse, you are probably wondering what all these terms mean, and what the difference is between these different nursing fields.

Lucky for you, the internet is alive and well and full of creative people sharing their knowledge. The wonderful team at Nursing License Map created a useful infographic to walk you through the Pathways in Nursing. This infographic is especially helpful for those looking for ways to explain to non-nurses just how they got to where they are, or for those looking to enter the nursing field.
